LYFO DISK® vials with pallets
The LYFO DISK® vial contains 10 crushable, lyophilized pellets of an individual microorganism strain. The lyophilized microorganism preparation is no more than four passages from a reference culture, and has a shelf life of 10-20 months.
The LYFO DISK® requires no pre-incubation period, and is the most economical reference stock culture. A Certificate of Analysis comes standard with each shipment.

KWIK-STIK™ swabs
A Convenient and Trusted Source of Working Stock Cultures: QA/QC for all Microbiology Laboratories.
KWIK-STIK™ is a self-contained package including a lyophilized microorganism pellet, reservoir of hydrating fluid, and inoculating swab. The lyophilized microorganism preparation is no more than four passages from a reference culture. KWIK-STIK™ is the most convenient and easy-to-use product available. It comes with a wide selection of microorganism strains and requires no pre-incubation.
Each individual microorganism strain is available in the KWIK-STIK™ canisters (10 units) or KWIK-STIK™ DuoPaks (two units).

EZ-Comp™ Samples for personnel competency assesments

These “blind samples” are tools used in clinical and educational labs that perform regular training and evaluation testing. These mixed population microorganisms are identified by codes rather than descriptions for testing purposes.
EZ-COMP™ Samples come in the ready-to-use KWIK-STIK™. The KWIK-STIK™ is a self-contained package including a lyophilized microorganism pellet, reservoir of hydrating fluid, and inoculating swab. The lyophilized microorganism preparation is no more than four passages from an ATCC® reference culture, and requires no pre-incubation. They are available in sets of two (DuoPaks).

Introducing EZ-Accu Shot, a quantitative microorganism preparation for Growth Promotion Testing.
Product Features:
EZ-Accu Shot™ lyophilized microorganism preparations are designed to deliver less than 100 CFU per 0.1mL of hydrated suspension. EZ-Accu Shot™ pellets dissolve instantly and require little to no preparation time. Each 1.2 mL vial of hydrated suspension offers 10 inocula. For added convenience, the suspension can be used up to eight hours following hydration. EZ-Accu Shot™ is a self-contained kit including:
1. 5 vials of a single enumerated microorganism (1 lyophilized pellet per vial)
2. 5 vials of hydrating fluid (1.2 mL in each vial)

This product offers a 2.0 ml linoculum in a single aliquot allowing the lab technician to perform up to 19 tests per aliquot or 190 tests per kit. It is the only product that offers microorganism preparations manufactured at a predetermined concentration for versatile laboratory testing requirements.

Microbank™ Bacterial Preservation System
Microbank™ is a convenient, ready to use system designed to greatly simplify the storage and retrieval of bacterial cultures. Microbank™ comprises of a unique cryovial system incorporating treated beads and a special cryopreservative solution.
This easy to use system offers many advantages over traditional methods of preserving or maintaining organisms for research or quality control. Just 4 steps are required to preserve any bacterial culture for many months or years.
Key Benefits
* Easy use provides microbiologists with a much simpler alternative to traditional methods of lyophilization or use of glycerol broths.
* More reliable means of maintaining important bacterial cultures than repetitive subculture which can result in contaminated cultures, loss of organism or introduced changes in bacterial characteristics.
* Provides multiple identical cultures, each Microbank™ vial contains 25 beads providing 25 cultures from the original organism.

bioTRADING offers an even simpler way to store your Microbank™ cryovials. These stackable storage boxes are available in two colours and made to fit metal rack in the freezer. Clear writing surfaces on top of these storage boxes have 81 numbered squares for easy sample identification.
