hyplex® test systems are used for the specific detection of DNA of infectious pathogens.

With only one hyplex® Multiplex-PCR several parameter can be detected in one workstep. This allows as well the screening of patient material for different pathogens as an advanced genotypic characterisation of a certain organism regarding resistance- or toxin genes.

Multiplex-PCR:

Multiplex-PCR means the simultaneous amplification of several different specific DNA regions, which are detected by reverse hybridisation using high specific capture probes. This is why hyplex® systems guarantee highest specificity.

reverse hybridisation:

The procedure of the reverse hybridisation is carried out in commonly used microtiter plates and is similar to a traditional antigen ELISA. Therefore it can be automated easily using common ELISA-processors.
